The Laurels of Coldwater employs a team of highly qualified medical professionals, including a Medical Director, Registered Nurses, Restorative Care Nurses, a Wound Care Nurse, state tested Certified Nursing Assistants, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and a Speech Therapist. Our on-site Rehab, Dietary, Social Work, and Activities departments provide personalized and compassionate care to each guest. Administrator
Curtis Covert has over 13 years of experience as the Administrator at The Laurels of Coldwater. He is a graduate of Wright State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing and Management. Curtis attended The Ohio State University for Executive Education in Nursing Home Administration and began his career as an Administrator at Community Care Centers in Seymour, Indiana. He then worked off of Wright Patterson Air Force Base at Wright Nursing and Rehabilitation Center before moving to Coldwater in 2002.

Rehabilitation Services Director
Kristen graduated from Rhodes State College with an Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting in 2005. She has worked in various settings, including acute care hospital and an out-patient facility, before settling into geriatrics in 2007. She has been in rehabilitation management since graduating college. In March of 2013, Kristen moved from Ohio to Michigan to take the position of Rehabilitation Services Director for The Laurels of Coldwater. She enjoys spending her weekends in Michigan out on the lake with her family.
Director of Marketing
Nicole joined The Laurels of Coldwater in October of 2021. She graduated from Baker College in 2012 with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. She enjoys spending time with her Husband and Daughter. Nicole enjoys being involved in her community and is the current President of the Branch County United Way. She enjoys educating the public and medical professionals about the services offered at The Laurels of Coldwater. She enjoys helping others and will be an important part of making your family member feel at home during their stay.
